Welcome Sign

I have been wanting a new welcome sign and I have been wanting to try the new rosette technique I had learned when my hand was still splinted.

I created a template and traced out onto the chalkboard our name using a chalk marker.

I than made my fun burlap rosette and attached it to the front to put on my sign.

CTC 31- Father's Day Blog Hop

Father's day is right around the corner so this week's blog hop is all about CASing out of the Father's Day section of the Occasions catty and I specifically used the cute card on page 40 which used the Work of Art set and the Anchor.

I used the same idea but used the cute Bug from Let's Get Away (I specifically bought that set for the bug) and used the April Paper Pumpkin set to make this fun card which is my hubby. I also used a variety of oranges like only orange (retired), calypso coral, and tangelo twist. I just went through my stamping spots and used them.

Here is why:

His vintage '66 bug and yes it has a stache on it!

Cute Bike Pillow

I love my cricut so much and sometimes I see an idea and I run with it. Yes it is a problem.

I cut out this cut bike using shiny HTV alone with the cute saying and heat pressed it on.

I than cut out the cute banner out of fabric and just pinned it on. I think it is so cute and looks so cute in my room.

Bulletin Board redo

Summer is right around the corner. The boy is done with preschool this coming week and about three more weeks for the girl. I love my bulletin board and it has been wonderful all year for sticking important stuff on but I wanted to freshen it up some for the summer and all it cost me was zero dollars because I had everything on hand. I love projects like that.

Here is the plain board. It had some cute stuff on it like the kids daily schedule and the days of the week but I pulled that all off. I hd that on there to stick stuff on days they were due etc.

I cut a piece of fabric I had in my stash. I picked it up on the clearance rack because I liked it.

I slowly started tucking it in and I see my spatula from my Cricut.

Got it ll in and I didn't iron it. It flatten out as I tucked it in.

Finally added in some cute ribbons around the out side. I can pull the fabric out and the ribbon off when I want to change it out.

CTC #29 Inspiration Blog Hop

This week is all about bing inspired by the Doily card on page 22 of the Occasions catalog. I almost missed it and looked for it twice before I saw it.

Here is the sketch inspired.

I ut out using my ecutter the SU digital imagine (still using MDS until I no longer can).

I than used the banner framelits and hand cut out the Hello from Crazy About You set.

I fully admit I am not a doily type of gal and haven't been able to jump on this band wagon so of course i used my twist on it.
