CASE-ing the Catty Challenge # 3

We are on our third week at CASE-ing the Catty Challenges and this week it is about the third section of course which is Birthdays (pages 42-59).

I am having so much fun with the challenges and MAYBE to much with this one because well I did more than one project this week, I did a suite of them.

I just adore the Maritime DSP as well as the new stamp set Sea Street which I have been using since I got it in the preorder. I have made tons of things using the set and am on my second DSP packet.

I was so inspired to do my own take with what I had on hand using the Sea Street/Maritime suite located on pages 42-43 of the US catalog.

I started off making my own version of the invitation using MDS. I used the tag punch and made it bigger, outlined it with Night of Navy and added in the preloaded invitation. I adhered it on to a piece of Maritime and punched holes to tie and bow and stamped the little crab on it.

Of course that wasn't enough for me so I decorated some mini donuts like in the
catalog and wrapped a piece of Maritime DSP around a mason jar for a fun drink. I even had a straw left over from the June Paper Pumpkin (which so far is my favorite).

Finally I used some Night of Navy card-stock and created a fun banner using the Banners framelites, cut out enough for Celebrate. I added in scraps of maritime DSP as well. I stamped the letters with a retired alphabet set and white craft ink (I realized how old my pad was when I was using it).

Please go check out the other projects on CASE-ing the Catty because you will be so inspired by them.

Thanks for stopping by!
