Mommiedom

My little girl Miss O has her last day of First grade today. I took a photo last year of her on both the first and last day so I did it again this year. I created a fun MDS page to show how different she looks from Day 1 of Kindergarten to the last day of First. What will she look like on her last day of Fifth grade.

The weather is really nice on this Monday. Hot but not to hot and no humidity (very rare here in Texas). Sometimes you need to stop and look at the beauty that is right in your yard. My magnolia tree is in full bloom and smells awesome and so many of my plants are shouting with color. Plus I took a moment to lay in the hammock and see the son flare through the queen palm fronds. Plus 4th of July is about  a month away so we are letting the flag wave.

We can all have a case of the Mondays but this Monday I decided to see the beauty that surrounds me.
