Summer vacation has started and even before it did, I came across this awesome idea. I had it bouncing around in my head but was unsure how to do it and do it good. Than I came across Some What Simples Boredom Jar and bam that was it.
The idea is simple by creating a jar filled with all sorts of boredom busters. Things range from to chores but that is how life is. The great thing is that Some What Simple already has the printables for the jar so you don't have to think it all up yourself. Some of the things my kids to already while others are new and hopefully exciting.
I just took a plain mason jar and filled it with all boredom busters and than decorated the outside by creating the fun top and side tag. So simple and yet I hope effective.
This is such a fun sketch. Than I noticed that Fab Friday that included a color challenge with the new SU In Colors.
So of course the wheels started turning and I thought that these sketch with those colors would be awesome. I also used the new Show and Tell 1 and 2 stamp sets with the card and the retro flower punch (btw I love that one so much).
So here is to my creation for today. It makes me happy to create something each and every day!
This week ColourQ is using the following awesome colors for their challenge:
So I used the MDS and created a fun digital scrapbook page of my kiddos in their 4th of July attire. I took some photos the other day and created cards out of this picture as well.
Yes I know it is Thursday (I am behind this week)!. What a simple and cute sketch from TSON this week. I created a simple card using the some new DSP as well as a stamp from the Show and Tell set which I have big plans for in my paper creations!
I love this Hot Air Balloon stamp set which I don't use often enough. the CAS today from Clean and Simple seemed right plus with it graduation season, I thought this would make a fun one to give.
I am a crafty, hardworking mom of two who was lucky enough to marry my best friend in 2002. We moved to Texas in 2003 and well quickly has made this our home. I love to blend my midwest style with a little southern. I am constantly trying new things with both success and failure.
