T-shirts get your T-shirts

12:00 AM 0 Comments
I got more iron on vinyl for my supply- I might have a t-shirt problem and it  didn't help they were on sale as well.

I bought a bunch and you will see more as the seasons go on. Today I did one for my hubby which is a big orange bug to match his VW that he owns. I made me a softball Mom shirt which I have yet to wear because games keep getting rained out. Hopefully soon!

This week over at CASE-ing the Catty  is all about TAGS and of course our The Holiday Catalog.

I decided to go the Halloween route because I LOVE Halloween.

This week I was inspired by thte pictures on page 44 of the Holiday Catalog that includes the Motley Monsters Suite. These monsters are all over my stuff this year.

I made a candy jar inspired by the three adorable containers on page 44.

I was having so much fun that I had these photo holders that I also decorated with the paper and cut out the large BOO.

Thanks for stopping by!!!

My Cricut Craft Room- Smarty

12:00 AM 2 Comments

Well today is the "Smarty" theme for MCCR.

So what does Smarty mean to you- for me it was well Going Back to School.

The kids started about a month ago so the Friday before we had a Back to School Pool Party with some friends.

We had pizza, snacks, and of course cupcakes. It was a last hooray for the kids before being back in a routine for school as well as a last hooray for us Moms.

I used the following carts for the party:

Birthday Bash
Recess

Here is the whole layout

Fun favor boxes for the kids. I out dollar store finds in there for them.

My banner that I made using the cricut. I decided to use picture holders to hold them up.

Cupcake inserts

Closer look at the ABC banner

Homemade chalk slate- used a piece of chalkboard paper and stuck it in a unfinished frame.

Love this fun subway art that I found on Pinterest courtesy of Mom Always Finds Out which I stuck in a glitter frame I had on hand.

I also used stuff from my stash like the Alphabet stamps I have on hand.

I really like how it turned out and the kids all went home with smart goodies!

MCCR Blog Hop - All Autumn Ideas

12:00 AM 2 Comments

Welcome to My Cricut Craft Room's All Autumn Ideas Blog Hop....

You will find many WONDERFUL Autumn ideas along this hop today... Enjoy!

If you came from My Cricut Craft Room you are in the right place...

If not please visit http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com to start the hop.

Today I made negative fall art!

I saw this awesome art at the craft store and thought I could make that with the Cricut.

I took a 12x12 piece of Stampin Up retired Designer Paper and cut out the owl using the Wall Decor and More Cartridge. I matted it with contrasting paper so the cut out pops for you.

Here is a closer look at the owl.

I also took the cut out image and glued that on to cream paper and framed that in a shadow box as well. So here I am with two pieces of art from 1 piece of paper and it was so easy to do. I love this idea to change shapes and colors for the seasons. This is a perfect autumn colored project.

CASE-ing the Catty Week #10

12:00 AM 3 Comments

This week is all about the Artistic Expression found on page 154 of the SU catalog.

There are so many great things in this section that well I did a hybrid of sorts for my CASE. I also used some past Paper Pumpkin pieces as well (make sure to check out Paper Pumpkin).

I just love those little notebooks and well have used them for a few projects including a pinterst one for a group.

I also love the camera stamp called snapshot.

Basically I decorated the front of the little notebook up using inspiration from page 164 of the catalog.

CASE-ing the Catty Week# 9

12:00 AM 0 Comments

Week 9 is all about the Thank you section in the catalog (144-153) and there were so many great ideas. Make sure to go over to CASE-ing the Catty and check out everyone's great projects.

For me this week, I was instantly drawn to the gift bag made out of the window box on page 151. I made it my own by using some washi tape and that big bow to compliment the thank you sentiment.

The box was super easy to do. I just cut off the lid, taped down the one flap and than added on the handle (I cut about 1.25x8 inch piece of card stock ) by attaching it with brads I had. I used a mixture of new stuff and retired because I like to utilize what I have my stash of stuff.

My Cricut Craft Room- Camping

12:00 AM 0 Comments

Today is my Camping Inspired Scrapbook Page for MCCR.

This was a timely one for me because we just got back from Camping this past weekend. We haven't camped in YEARS and it was the kids first time.

I created this page using the following cartridges and 18 separate mats for this page:

Campin Critters
Camp Out
Basic Shapes (Rectangle and Square)

Here is the page in all of its glory!

Close up of the icons I created.

Close of of the tree cluster and the camp!

The cute little tags.

I have seen similar layouts like this and loved the idea of using it for a camping theme. I used all Stampin up paper.

Thanks for stoping by!

CASE-ing the Catty- Week #8- Card Giving

8:12 AM 3 Comments

So what is Stampin Up all about about- well card giving of course!

That is this week's CASE-ing the Catty Challenge and well this was so hard to decide which card to case so I went more with one that was inspiring. The Card giving section is pages 102-143 which is a huge part of the catalog.

I went through it numerous times and when I saw the cute card on page 115- Friends who know, I though I need to make something like that. It reminded me of chalkboard which I LOVE.

I stamped using the layered flower and of course used the hello there from our hostess set. I embossed it all in different colors. I love how it turned out and would love to make more of these in many versions.
