I have so been wanting to try Becky Higgins Project Life scrapbook stuff but I am so loyal to SU that I was hesitate. I admit to buying the Project Life albums since SU doesn't carry them any more but the rest I just was unsure. So when I hear that Project Life and SU were teaming up I was so excited. As soon as Demos could order the stuff, I did and it arrived with in days. I am so in love with it. I already started four pages with it with plans for more. Here are the four pages I have. I am planning on doing a large year in review using it and I so hope for more products.

I love having the SU colors and papers in the Project Life format. Which means I can use my existing SU stuff and it will coordinate. You can order it here at this link:

All of it is fun to work with and makes a quick dynamic page that you can have as much or little as you like. Love the idea of using the compartments to make what I want to make!

I went through all of my photos a few weeks ago and sorted like crazy of the ones I wanted to make into pages and the others that go into the photo box. These two 5x7 struck me as needing to be scrapbooked. The one of my son was when we went down to the beach spring of 2013 and the one of my daughter was likely back in like 2011ish when she was about 5 (at least that was the last time she had bangs!)


She looks so different to me now that she is nearly eight years old and in second grade though honestly not terribly much taller.

I know I did a digital page of these and filed away my pictures from last spring of our day at Lego Kids Fest which was awesome. They had this huge pile of Legos and I had the kids bury themselves in it (the icky factor outweighed what fun photos that I got).

I may or may not be totally in love with the new Retro Fresh suite from Stampin Up! It was the first set that caught my eye looking through the new occasions catalog. I loved the papers, colors, stamps , and framelit dies.

I decided that I would make a blocked page out of the awesome Retro Fresh DSP and than taking of course coordinating colors, I added in some fun die cut peices and of course I trimmed down one of those cute chevron bags to stick a little notecard in there (Notes is from Paper Pumpkin).

Now all it needs is some pictures to stick in it.

I saw a version of this age on Pinterest and thought I could totally make that page using MDS so I went ahead and over the course of a day (meaning I worked on it for like five minutes here and there when I had a moment) created this fun page which i stuck a picture of my kids and niece from our day at Galveston Beach. My niece who is two and half wanted to go down and see the ocean. She thought she would be able to go in and was upset it was to cold.

We saw Santa a few weeks ago at bass Pro Shops. I love the Santa and the Wonderland that they have plus they let you take photos of the kids and they print up one for free to take home. We have done it every year for the last few. I love progression of the kids. The first year, the youngest sobbed the whole time.

I forced the kids (as they like to tell it) to dress up nice and go for pictures one early Sunday morning. We had some fun taking pictures and they were happy when I let them play on the playground.

I used the Basic Black and Real Red color scheme because of their outfit colors. I than used the fun Festive Flurry set as well as A Banner Christmas (my upline had it and I just loved it).

In July when visiting the family in Wisconsin, we had a 60th birthday party for my wonderful mom. I had seen these outfits at the store and just had to get the for my daughter and niece. the girls were so darn cute with their matching outfits and look so much alike. Miss P could be my third child with how much she looks like us.

Some friends were in town so we decided to take them down to Galveston to show them the beach. It was twilight there and just breathtaking with the colors in the sky over the ocean. We vowed as a family to do this more often because it was so nice to just relax and breath.

Way back in August my daughter was invited to a birthday party which was a horseback riding one. She actually was scared because she had never rode a horse before. I told her it was fun but honestly hadn't got on a horse since I was like ten. So we went and both of us got up on this big old horse and had a blast.

All of the girls at the party had a blast riding the horses and well we are excited to go again at some point.

I belong to a stamp club and my wonderful upline created these pages. I tend to forget I make them and usually file them away and I know I need to be better about using them as well as having them as inspiration.

I used both of the pages for our trip to Wisconsin over the summer.

I saw a version of a layout that I really liked and thought it would go well with all the photos I took when we went to Old World Wisconsin back in July when visiting the parents. It was super hot day and my Mom was a trooper with the walking especially with her knee and it helped a ton that they had trams.

This is only a small amount of what I took and I am likely going to do another 2 page payout of the rest of the photos. The kids loved it there and want to go back next year just on a cooler day. We learned lots about living during the 1800s Of course my daughter dressed up as Laura Ingalls Wilder because they had special events going on.

The kids went to our local library where the celebrated the second annual Star Wars Read day which encourages kids to read. They had a blast making their own lightsabers and Mr. L was so excited to see the Stormtroopers.
